Walks Around New Gloucester

New Gloucester is rich in land open to the public for trail walking and hiking. The town also has quiet byways and unpaved roads with even surfaces for gentle walks. The Fairgrounds boasts a groomed track handy for measuring those 10,000 steps a day. And Pineland offers both paved and backwoods paths.

The BLING team would like to share some our favorite road walks around New Gloucester. We hope our readers will share their own so we can keep adding new discoveries.

Wednesday Walkers

The Wednesday Walkers enjoy exploring local trails and walking areas.  We appreciate the camaraderie of folks who like being outdoors all year long.  We meet at 10 am every Wednesday for 1 to 1.5 hours at different locations in the general vicinity of New Gloucester and Gray.  The NGXchange publishes the location of the weekly walks on its calendar on Mondays.  It’s a friendly group and walking safety is our priority.  Feel free to join the Wednesday Walkers whenever it is convenient for you.
